The appellant company filed an appeal against a compensation fund decision on contributions. The president of the Cantonal Insurance Tribunal held that the matter had become moot, struck the case from the docket, and ordered that no court fees or costs be levied.
Withdrawal of an appeal after settlement renders the proceeding moot; the court strikes the case from the docket. In such circumstances, and absent a basis to the contrary, no court fees or expenses are charged (consid. 1-2).
