The appellant filed an appeal against an AVS contribution decision issued by Cassa CO 1, but then expressly withdrew the appeal in letters of 25 and 27 January 2005. The Tribunal cantonale delle assicurazioni held that the matter had become moot and ordered the case struck from the docket. It also ordered that no court fees or expenses be collected.
Withdrawal of appeal; mootness and striking-out of proceedings: where the appellant expressly withdraws the remedy, the case loses its object and is removed from the docket. In such a situation the court does not adjudicate the merits. Absent special circumstances, no court fees or costs are levied (consid. 1-2).

rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.1961;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli:
non si prelevano né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
