The Ticino Insurance Court dealt with an appeal against a family-allowance restitution order. After the court had set a deadline for the respondent to answer, the appellant informed the court by letter of 5 May 2000 that the appeal was withdrawn. The court held that the case had therefore become devoid of object, struck it from the docket, and ordered that no fees or costs be collected.
