The Ticino Administrative Court dealt with an administrative appeal against a 1991 State Council decision concerning a parish tax for 1990. After the parish notified the court on 17 January 1996 that, in view of intervening legislative changes, it was withdrawing the challenge, the court struck the appeal from the roll. It further ordered that no court fees or expenses be levied.

Where the appellant expressly withdraws the challenge during the proceedings, the court strikes the case from the docket as moot/terminated; in the absence of a substantive determination, no fees or costs are generally levied when the dispositive order so provides.
