The appellant challenged a State Council decision ordering his immediate suspension from office and salary. Before the administrative court decided the merits, he notified the court on 2000-01-20 that he was withdrawing the appeal. The president of the Tribunal cantonale amministrativo therefore held that the proceedings were exhausted and ordered the appeal struck from the docket, with neither fees nor costs imposed.
Withdrawal of an administrative appeal before judgment; the court shall strike the proceedings from the docket once the appellant withdraws the remedy. In such a case, the proceedings are exhausted and, absent contrary indications, no court fees or costs are levied (consid. implicit in the decree).
