The Tribunal of the Planning of the Territory of Ticino dealt with an appeal against a State Council decision concerning the delimitation of the woodland boundary along the building zone in a municipality. Before the court decided the merits, the appellants withdrew the appeal by letter of 28 September 2001. The court held that the case had become devoid of object, struck the appeal from the roll, and ordered that no court fees or costs be taken.
