The appellant challenged the partial approval of the General Plan for the Galleria by the Gran Consiglio. After the appellant withdrew the appeal by letter of 10 September 2001, the Tribunal of Territorial Planning held that the case had become moot and ordered the appeal struck off the roll. It also decided that no court fees or costs would be collected. The decision was issued by the TPT in Lugano on 13 September 2001.
