The Federal Constitutional Court rejected an election review complaint in written proceedings. It stated that the complaint had no prospect of success for the reasons given in the rapporteur's letter of 14 April 2016 and, pursuant to § 24 sentence 2 BVerfGG, waived any further reasons.
§ 24 Satz 2 BVerfGG; rejection of a complaint without further reasons when it is evidently unsuccessful. If the complainant’s submission does not warrant success for the reasons already communicated, the Court may dispose of the matter summarily and omit a full statement of reasons.
