che abroga i regolamenti (CE) n. 717/96, (CE) n. 1484/96, (CE) n. 1508/96, (CE) n. 164/97, (CE) n. 299/97 e (CE) n. 1112/97 che istituiscono misure eccezionali a sostegno del mercato delle carni bovine in Belgio, Germania, Francia, Irlanda, Paesi Bassi, Portogallo e Regno Unito
LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,
visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea,
visto il regolamento (CE) n. 1254/1999 del Consiglio, del 17 maggio 1999, relativo all’organizzazione comune dei mercati nel settore delle carni bovine 1 , in particolare l’articolo 39,
considerando quanto segue:
(1) I regolamenti (CE) n. 717/96 2 , (CE) n. 1484/96 3 , (CE) n. 1508/96 4 , (CE) n. 164/97 5 , (CE) n. 299/97 6 e (CE) n. 1112/97 7 , che istituiscono misure eccezionali a sostegno del mercato delle carni bovine in Belgio, Germania, Francia, Irlanda, Paesi Bassi, Portogallo e Regno Unito, autorizzavano gli Stati membri interessati a indennizzare i produttori per i bovini abbattuti per ordine delle autorità competenti nell’ambito delle misure finalizzate all’eradicazione dell’encefalopatia spongiforme bovina (ESB).
(2) Poiché le circostanze che hanno motivato l’adozione delle suddette misure non sussistono più, è necessario abrogare i regolamenti (CE) n. 717/96, (CE) n. 1484/96, (CE) n. 1508/96, (CE) n. 164/97, (CE) n. 299/97 e (CE) n. 1112/97.
(3) Le misure previste dal presente regolamento sono conformi al parere del comitato di gestione per le carni bovine,
HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:
I regolamenti (CE) n. 717/96, (CE) n. 1484/96, (CE) n. 1508/96, (CE) n. 164/97, (CE) n. 299/97 e (CE) n. 1112/97 sono abrogati.
Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il terzo giorno successivo alla pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea .
Esso si applica a decorrere dal 1 o gennaio 2005.
