che modifica il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio relativo all'attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi
LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,
visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea,
visto il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio, del 20 dicembre 2002, relativo all'attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi 1 , in particolare gli articoli 19 e 20,
considerando quanto segue:
(1) Il presidente del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley ha comunicato, con circolare del 20 novembre 2007, la sua decisione di aggiungere la Repubblica del Congo all'elenco dei partecipanti dall'8 novembre 2007.
(2) Occorre modificare opportunamente l'allegato II.
(3) La Bulgaria, la Germania e la Romania hanno informato la Commissione delle modifiche degli estremi delle loro autorità competenti.
(4) Occorre modificare opportunamente l'allegato III,
HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:
L'allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 è sostituito dall'allegato I del presente regolamento.
L'allegato III del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 è sostituito dall'allegato II del presente regolamento.
Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il giorno successivo alla pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell'Unione europea .
Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri. Fatto a Bruxelles, il 26 maggio 2008. Per la Commissione Benita FERRERO-WALDNER Membro della Commissione
