AGRICULTURE EDUCATION LOAN FORGIVENESS ACT - AMEND

                                  AN ACT

     Amending the act of June 26, 1992 (P.L.322, No.64), entitled "An
        act providing for Commonwealth support for the Agriculture
        Education Loan Forgiveness Program for Pennsylvania residents
        who graduate from institutions of higher education and who
        apply their degrees in agriculture to family farms within
        this Commonwealth," further providing for expiration of act.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  Section 7 of the act of June 26, 1992 (P.L.322,
     No.64), known as the Agriculture Education Loan Forgiveness Act,
     amended June 28, 1993 (P.L.136, No.32), is amended to read:
      [Section 7.  Expiration.
        This act shall expire July 1, 1998.]
        Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
