FIRST CLASS CITY GOVERNMENT LAW - REPEALS RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
        PUBLIC WORKS AND THE DEPARTMENT OF SUPPLIES AND PURCHASES
                 Act of Nov. 23, 2004, P.L. 939, No. 135              Cl. 11

                                  AN ACT

     Amending the act of June 25, 1919 (P.L.581, No.274), entitled
        "An act for the better government of cities of the first
        class of this Commonwealth," deleting provisions relating to
        the Department of Public Works and the Department of Supplies
        and Purchases.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  Section 4 of Article VI and Article XXIV of the
     act of June 25, 1919 (P.L.581, No.274), referred to as the First
     Class City Government Law, are repealed.
        Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
