The Federal Supreme Court struck the appeal off the docket as moot because the Commercial Court of Zurich had already set aside its own judgment dissolving and liquidating the company. The case therefore no longer had a live subject matter. The court ordered the appellant to pay court costs of CHF 500.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; appeal becomes moot when the challenged decision is set aside by the lower court itself. In such a case the Federal Supreme Court strikes the proceedings off the docket without examining the merits. Court costs are allocated according to Art. 66 Abs. 3 BGG and may be imposed on the appellant notwithstanding mootness; the decisive factor is the procedural outcome attributable to the party's conduct or the circumstances of the case.

In Erwägung,
dass das Handelsgericht des Kantons Zürich mit Urteil vom 23. Mai 2012 erkannte, dass die Beschwerdeführerin aufgelöst und ihre Liquidation nach den Vorschriften über den Konkurs angeordnet werde;
dass die Beschwerdeführerin dieses Urteil am 21. Juni 2012 mit Beschwerde beim Bundesgericht anfocht und dessen Aufhebung beantragte;
dass das Handelsgericht des Kantons Zürich mit Verfügung vom 25. Juni 2012 das Urteil vom 23. Mai 2012 aufhob;
dass mit der Aufhebung des Urteils des Handelsgerichts vom 23. Mai 2012 die Beschwerde ans Bundesgericht gegenstandslos geworden ist und im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG abgeschrieben werden kann;
dass die Gerichtskosten der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 3 BGG);
verfügt die Präsidentin:

Die Beschwerde wird als gegenstandslos abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Handelsgericht des Kantons Zürich schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Yes. Once the challenged judgment was revoked, the appeal lost its subject matter and had to be struck off the docket under Art. 32(2) BGG.
The lower court's order of 25 June 2012 set aside the judgment of 23 May 2012, so the Federal Supreme Court proceedings no longer had an object.
Allocation of court costs after the appeal became moot.
Court costs were imposed on the appellant.
The court applied Art. 66(3) BGG and ordered the appellant to bear the costs.
