The appellant challenged a Basel-Stadt civil judgment before the Federal Supreme Court while also pursuing a cantonal appeal. The Appellationsgericht later annulled the first-instance judgment, rendering the federal complaint moot. The President of the I. Civil Law Division therefore struck the complaint from the docket, imposed CHF 300 in court costs on the appellant, and denied party compensation to the respondent because no federal-court expense had been incurred.

In Erwägung,
dass das Zivilgericht des Kantons Basel-Stadt die Klage der Beschwerdeführerin mit Entscheid vom 27. Juni 2012 teilweise guthiess;

dass die Beschwerdeführerin diesen Entscheid am 5. Dezember 2012 mit Beschwerde beim Bundesgericht anfocht;

dass die Beschwerdeführerin gegen den Entscheid des Zivilgerichts auch Berufung beim Appellationsgericht des Kantons Basel-Stadt einreichte;

dass das Appellationsgericht den Entscheid des Zivilgerichts vom 27. Juni 2012 in Gutheissung der Berufung mit Entscheid vom 20. Juni 2013 aufhob;

dass mit der Aufhebung des Entscheides des Zivilgerichts die Beschwerde an das Bundesgericht gegenstandslos geworden ist und im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG abgeschrieben werden kann;

dass die Gerichtskosten der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 3 BGG);

dass der Beschwerdegegnerin, der aus dem bundesgerichtlichen Verfahren kein Aufwand erwachsen ist, keine Parteientschädigung zuzusprechen ist;

verfügt die Präsidentin:

Die Beschwerde wird als gegenstandslos abgeschrieben.

2.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.

3.

Der Beschwerdegegnerin wird keine Parteientschädigung zugesprochen.

4.

Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien, dem Zivilgericht des Kantons Basel-Stadt und dem Appellationsgericht des Kantons Basel-Stadt schriftlich mitgeteilt.
