The appellant withdrew his constitutional complaint against the Aargau High Court decision of 24 April 2012. The Federal Supreme Court therefore discontinued the proceedings. It exceptionally waived court costs under Art. 66(1) second sentence BGG. The order was communicated to the parties and to the High Court of the Canton of Aargau, Civil Court, Single Judge.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; withdrawal of an appeal or complaint renders the proceedings moot and they are to be struck from the docket. Under Art. 66 Abs. 1 second sentence BGG, the Federal Supreme Court may exceptionally waive court costs, in particular where the circumstances so warrant. The discontinuance by withdrawal does not entail a decision on the merits; the dispositive effect is limited to termination of the proceedings and allocation of costs (consid. implied).

dass das Verfahren als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abzuschreiben ist;
dass ausnahmsweise auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten zu verzichten ist (Art. 66 Abs. 1 zweiter Satz BGG);
verfügt die Präsidentin im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Zivilgericht, Einzelrichter, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
