The Federal Supreme Court held that the civil complaint was inadmissible. The appellant failed to substantiate any violation of federal law by the Bern Appellationshof, which had declared the cantonal appeal lapsed because he did not appear at the hearing. The Court further held that there was no appealable final cantonal decision on the merits, since the appellate court had not decided the substance and the first-instance judgment had become final. The request for reinstatement under Bern procedural law remained pending and did not change the inadmissibility. Court costs of CHF 2,000 were charged to the appellant.

Nach Einsicht
in den vorgenannten Beschluss,
in die Beschwerden in Zivilsachen vom 20. und 23. April 2010,

in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer gegen das Urteil der Gerichtspräsidentin 2 des Gesichtskreises VIII Bern-Laupen vom 19. September 2009 Appellation erklärt hat,
dass der Beschwerdeführer an der oberinstanzlichen Verhandlung nicht erschienen ist, demzufolge das erstinstanzliche Urteil in Rechtskraft erwachsen ist (Art. 353 ZPO/BE) und der Appellationshof daher das vom Beschwerdeführer eingeleitete Appellationsverfahren als dahingefallen erklärt hat,
dass der Beschwerdeführer diesen Beschluss des Appellationshofs angefochten hat, jedoch in seinen Eingaben nicht vorbringt, inwiefern der Appellationshof Bundesrecht verletzt haben soll, indem er das Appellationsverfahren infolge Säumnis des Beschwerdeführers als dahingefallen erklärt hat,
dass die Beschwerde somit, was den angefochtenen Beschluss anbelangt nicht den Anforderungen von Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG bzw. Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG entsprechend begründet und folglich unzulässig ist (BGE 134 II 244 E. 2.1 S. 245; 135 III 232 E. 1.2 S. 234),
dass der Appellationshof in der Sache nicht entschieden hat, sondern ein rechtskräftiges Urteil der ersten Instanz vorliegt und somit in der Sache zurzeit auch kein letztinstanzlicher Entscheid eines oberen kantonalen Gerichts (Art. 75 Abs. 1 BGG) gegeben ist, womit die Beschwerde in der Sache unzulässig ist,
dass gegen den Beschluss des Appellationshofs die Wiedereinsetzung gemäss den Art. 288 ZPO/BE offen steht (GEORG LEUCH UND ANDERE, Die Zivilprozessordnung für den Kanton Bern, 5. Aufl. 2000, N. 2 zu Art. 353 ZPO/BE), die der Beschwerdeführer offenbar auch beantragt hat, über die aber noch nicht entschieden ist,

dass demnach auf die offensichtlich unzulässige Beschwerde im vereinfachten Verfahren (Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a und b BGG) durch die Präsidentin der Abteilung unter Kostenfolge für den Beschwerdeführer nicht einzutreten ist,

erkennt die Präsidentin:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 2'000.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Bern, Appellationshof, 2. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
