The Federal Supreme Court held that the complaint against the cantonal supervisory decision in debt enforcement was filed out of time and was therefore inadmissible. The court left open whether the incorrect indication of a 30-day appeal period in the cantonal decision could have misled the appellant, because the filing on 22 October 2012 was late even under that longer period. The complaint was not entered into, and the appellant was ordered to pay court costs of CHF 500.

In summary proceedings under Art. 108 BGG, the presiding judge may decide non-entry on an obviously inadmissible late filing and allocate costs to the losing party.

in die Beschwerde gemäss Art. 72 ff. BGG gegen das Urteil vom 18. September 2012 des Kantonsgerichts des Kantons Wallis, das (als obere SchK-Aufsichtsbehörde) eine Beschwerde der Beschwerdeführerin nach Art. 18 SchKG abgewiesen hat, soweit es darauf eingetreten ist,
in Erwägung,
dass Beschwerden nach Art. 72 ff. BGG gegen Entscheide der kantonalen Aufsichtsbehörden in Schuldbetreibungs- und Konkurssachen innert 10 Tagen nach der Eröffnung des begründeten kantonalen Entscheids beim Bundesgericht einzureichen oder zu dessen Handen der Schweizerischen Post zu übergeben sind (Art. 100 Abs. 2 lit. a, 48 Abs. 1 BGG),
dass vorliegend offenbleiben kann, ob die unzutreffende Rechtsmittelbelehrung des Kantonsgerichts (Beschwerdefrist von 30 Tagen) die Beschwerdeführerin zur Annahme einer solchen Rechtsmittelfrist berechtigte (Art. 49 BGG), weil auch die 30-tägige Rechtsmittelfrist nicht gewahrt ist,
dass nämlich das angefochtene Urteil des Kantonsgerichts der Beschwerdeführerin am 19. September 2012 eröffnet worden ist,
dass die Beschwerdeführerin die Beschwerde an das Bundesgericht erst am 22. Oktober 2012 und damit nach Ablauf von 30 Tagen (Freitag, den 19. Oktober 2012) seit der Eröffnung des kantonalen Urteils der Post übergeben hat,
dass auf die verspätete und damit offensichtlich unzulässige Beschwerde in Anwendung von Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG nicht einzutreten ist,
dass die Beschwerdeführerin kostenpflichtig wird (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
dass im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 BGG das präsidierende Abteilungsmitglied zuständig ist,
erkennt das präsidierende Mitglied:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird der Beschwerdeführerin, dem Betreibungsamt A.________ und dem Kantonsgericht des Kantons Wallis schriftlich mitgeteilt.
