Beschwerde gegen den Beschluss des Obergerichts des Kantons Solothurn, Strafkammer, vom 28. Januar 2014.
Den Beschwerdeführern wurden mit Verfügungen vom 25. Februar und 19. März 2014 eine Frist bzw. die nicht mehr erstreckbare Nachfrist bis zum 31. März 2014 zur Leistung eines Kostenvorschusses von je Fr. 500.-- angesetzt, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde.
Wenige Tage vor Ablauf der Nachfrist teilten die Beschwerdeführer dem Bundesgericht mit, dass der Beschwerdeführer 2 den Vorschuss nicht leisten könne, weil er von einer Invalidenrente lebe. Der Beschwerdeführer 1 arbeite "normal" (act. 9). Diese Angaben reichen nicht aus, um die Bedürftigkeit der Beschwerdeführer darzutun und nachzuweisen. Insbesondere schliesst eine Invalidenrente nicht aus, dass der Betroffene Fr. 500.-- leisten kann. Das sinngemässe Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege muss deshalb abgewiesen werden.
Da der Kostenvorschuss innert der nicht mehr erstreckbaren Nachfrist nicht einging, ist auf die Beschwerde im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.
Die Gerichtskosten sind den Beschwerdeführern je zur Hälfte unter solidarischer Haftung aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 5 BGG). Dem Beschwerdegegner 2 ist keine Entschädigung auszurichten, weil er vor Bundesgericht keine Umtriebe hatte.
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden den Beschwerdeführern je zur Hälfte unter solidarischer Haftung auferlegt.
