Das Obergericht des Kantons Zürich trat am 20. Februar 2014 auf eine Beschwerde gegen die Nichtanhandnahmeverfügung der Staatsanwaltschaft I des Kantons Zürich vom 25. November 2013 nicht ein (UE130352-O/U/HEI). Der Beschwerdeführer wendet sich mit einer "fakultativen Beschwerde" ans Bundesgericht (vgl. act. 1 S. 41 ff.).
Die Vorinstanz stellt fest, der Beschwerdeführer erkläre selber, er habe die Verfügung vom 25. November 2013 nicht gelesen. Folglich könne er sich mit deren Begründung auch nicht auseinandersetzen, womit seine Eingabe von vornherein den Voraussetzungen nicht genüge (Beschluss S. 6).
Der Beschwerdeführer macht geltend, beim angefochtenen Entscheid handle es sich um eine "offensichtliche Fehlleistung" (S. 41). Was daran willkürlich sein oder sonst gegen das Recht im Sinne von Art. 95 BGG verstossen könnte, ergibt sich aus der weitschweifigen Eingabe und insbesondere aus der Angabe des Beschwerdeführers, er habe "gute Gründe" dafür gehabt, die angefochtene Verfügung "ungelesen und unkommentiert" der Vorinstanz einzureichen (S. 46), indessen nicht. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.
Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, III. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
