The Federal Supreme Court held that the criminal complaint was filed long after the deadline had expired. The challenged decision had been served on 14 November 2013, the collection period ended on 21 November 2013, and the deadline expired on 6 January 2014 after the year-end suspension. Because the filing occurred only on 17 March 2014, the Court did not enter into the complaint. Court costs of CHF 800 were imposed on the appellant.
Art. 108 BGG; late filing of a federal complaint in criminal matters renders the remedy inadmissible; the appeal period begins with valid service and, where service by registered mail is attempted but the addressee is absent, expiry of the collection period counts as service. Year-end suspension under the BGG extends the deadline accordingly; a filing after expiry of the extended deadline is non-enterable. Cost allocation follows Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Der angefochtene Entscheid wurde der Beschwerdeführerin am 14. November 2013 mit Gerichtsurkunde zugestellt. Die Empfängerin wurde nicht angetroffen. Die 7-tägige Abholfrist lief bis zum 21. November 2013. Die Beschwerdefrist endete unter Berücksichtigung des Fristenstillstandes über den Jahreswechsel am 6. Januar 2014. Die Beschwerde vom 17. März 2014 ist verspätet. Darauf ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.
Die Gerichtskosten sind der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Solothurn, Beschwerdekammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The complaint was filed after expiry of the statutory deadline and is therefore inadmissible.
The challenged decision was served on 2013-11-14; the pickup period ended on 2013-11-21; after taking account of the year-end suspension, the deadline expired on 2014-01-06. The filing on 2014-03-17 was late.
Allocation of court costs
Court costs are charged to the appellant.
As the complaint was inadmissible, the costs are imposed on the unsuccessful appellant under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.
