Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Dem Beschwerdeführer wurde mit Verfügung vom 21. Januar 2011 eine Frist bis 11. Februar 2011 angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen. Da innert Frist das Geld nicht einging, wurde dem Beschwerdeführer mit Verfügung vom 15. Februar 2011 die in Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG vorgeschriebene Nachfrist bis 8. März 2011 angesetzt, um den Kostenvorschuss einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Innert dieser nicht mehr erstreckbaren Nachfrist teilte der Beschwerdeführer mit Schreiben vom 7. März 2011 dem Bundesgericht mit, dass es ihm nicht möglich sei, den Betrag innert Frist zu überweisen. Als "Kurzbegründung" stellte er fest, dass er zurzeit nicht über die geforderte Summe verfüge (act. 13). Wollte der Beschwerdeführer auf diese Weise die nicht mehr erstreckbare Nachfrist zur Zahlung des Kostenvorschusses mit einem Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wahren, so hätte hierfür nur ein korrekt begründetes, mit ausreichenden Belegen zu seiner wirtschaftlichen Situation versehenes Gesuch genügen können (Urteil 6B_1078/2010 vom 22. Februar 2011 mit Hinweis). Dieser Voraussetzung genügt das sinngemässe Gesuch nicht, weil kein Beleg für die Behauptung des Beschwerdeführers beigelegt war. Nachdem der Kostenvorschuss innert Frist nicht einging, ist auf die Beschwerde im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist mangels hinreichender Begründung abzuweisen.

Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.

3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, II. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
