The appellant challenged an order of the Uri cantonal appellate court that had struck her criminal appeal off the list as withdrawn after she failed to appear at the hearing. Before the Federal Court she did not address this procedural issue or explain why the cantonal court’s approach was wrong. The Federal Court therefore held that the complaint did not meet the statutory reasoning requirements and did not enter into it. It also refused free legal aid because the appeal was hopeless, and it imposed reduced court costs of CHF 500 on the appellant.
Art. 42 Abs. 2, Art. 106 Abs. 2, Art. 108 BGG; admissibility of a federal criminal complaint: the submission must, in a substantiated manner, engage with the reasons of the contested decision. Where the appellant omits to challenge the decisive procedural ground for the cantonal ruling, the Federal Court does not examine the merits and may issue a non-entry decision under Art. 108 BGG. Legal aid under Art. 64 BGG is excluded when the remedy is manifestly devoid of prospects. Court costs may be imposed on the losing party, with due account taken of financial circumstances under Art. 65 Abs. 2 and Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Der Einzelrichter zieht in Erwägung:

Die Beschwerdeführerin erklärte am 17. Juli 2012 die Berufung gegen ein Urteil des Landgerichts Uri. Am 11. Oktober 2012 wurde ihr die mündliche Berufungsverhandlung vom 5. Dezember 2012 angezeigt. Sie erschien nicht. Deshalb schrieb das Obergericht des Kantons Uri die Berufung am 11. Dezember 2012 als durch Rückzug erledigt ab.
Zum Umstand, dass sie nicht zur Berufungsverhandlung erschienen ist, und zur Frage, ob die Berufung aus diesem Grund als zurückgezogen gelten kann, äussert sich die Beschwerdeführerin vor Bundesgericht nicht (vgl. act. 1 und 8). Die Beschwerde genügt folglich den Begründungsanforderungen von Art. 42 Abs. 2 bzw. Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG nicht. Zur materiellen Seite der Angelegenheit, mit der sich die Vorinstanz nicht befasst hat, kann sich auch das Bundesgericht nicht äussern. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist in Anwendung von Art. 64 BGG abzuweisen, weil die Rechtsbegehren aussichtslos erschienen. Der finanziellen Lage der Beschwerdeführerin ist bei der Bemessung der Gerichtskosten Rechnung zu tragen (Art. 65 Abs. 2 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.
3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Uri, Strafrechtliche Abteilung, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
