The appellant withdrew both the constitutional complaint and the nullity complaint by letter of 15 May 2007. The Kassationshof therefore struck both proceedings from the docket and ordered that no costs be levied. The order was issued on 29 May 2007 and notified to the appellant, the Basel-Landschaft prosecution, and the criminal procedural court.

Demnach wird verfügt:

Die staatsrechtliche Beschwerde und die Nichtigkeitsbeschwerde werden vom Geschäftsverzeichnis abgeschrieben.

Es werden keine Kosten erhoben.

Diese Verfügung wird dem Beschwerdeführer, der Staatsanwaltschaft des Kantons Basel-Landschaft und dem Verfahrensgericht in Strafsachen des Kantons Basel-Landschaft schriftlich mitgeteilt.
