The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the appeal because the appellant failed to pay the court-ordered cost advance even within the extended deadline. In simplified procedure, the court issued a non-entry decision and ordered the appellant to pay court costs of CHF 300.
Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG, Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG; non-payment of the ordered cost advance after expiry of the grace period entails non-entry in simplified procedure. The warning requirement is satisfied once the party is expressly informed that failure to pay will result in non-entry; if the advance is still unpaid after the additional deadline, the appeal is inadmissible without further examination. Cost allocation follows Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

in die Beschwerde des S.________ vom 27. Mai 2009 gegen den Entscheid des Verwaltungsgerichts des Kantons Luzern, verwaltungsrechtliche Abteilung, vom 21. April 2009,
in die u.a. vom Bundesgericht erlassene Verfügung vom 30. Juni 2009, mit welcher S.________ zur Bezahlung eines Kostenvorschusses innert einer Nachfrist bis zum 10. Juli 2009 verpflichtet wurde, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde,
in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den Vorschuss auch innerhalb der Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat,
dass deshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und der Beschwerdeführer kostenpflichtig wird (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Luzern, verwaltungsrechtliche Abteilung, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The appeal could not be entered into because the cost advance was not paid even after the grace period expired.
Under Art. 62(3) BGG, failure to pay the cost advance after a warning leads, in simplified procedure under Art. 108(1)(a) BGG, to non-entry.
Allocation of court costs after the non-entry decision.
Court costs of CHF 300 were imposed on the appellant.
As the appellant caused the non-entry by failing to pay the advance, he was ordered to bear the costs under Art. 66(1) BGG.
