The Federal Supreme Court held that the appellant's submission against the Basel-Landschaft Social Insurance Court judgment failed to satisfy the minimum requirements of Art. 42 BGG. It contained neither an adequate request nor a substantiated attack on the cantonal reasoning and did not identify any violation of federal law or decisive factual error. The appeal was therefore not entered upon under Art. 108(1)(b) BGG. In view of the circumstances, the Court waived court costs.

A federal appeal must contain specific prayers for relief and, in concise form, reasons showing how the challenged decision violates law; the appellant must engage with the contested reasoning in a concrete and substantiated manner. If these minimum requirements are manifestly not met, the appeal is inadmissible and may be decided in simplified proceedings without granting a curative time limit. Where the circumstances so justify, the collection of court costs may exceptionally be waived (consid. 1-4).

Nach Einsicht
in die Beschwerde des S.________ vom 3. Oktober 2012 (Poststempel) gegen den Entscheid des Kantonsgerichts Basel-Landschaft, Abteilung Sozialversicherungsrecht, vom 30. August 2012,
in Erwägung,
dass ein Rechtsmittel gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG unter anderem die Begehren und deren Begründung zu enthalten hat, wobei in der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern der angefochtene Entscheid Recht verletzt; dies setzt voraus, dass sich die Beschwerde führende Person konkret mit den Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheids auseinandersetzt (BGE 138 I 171 E. 1.4 S. 176, 136 I 65 E. 1.3.1 S. 68 und 134 II 244 E. 2.1 S. 245 f.),
dass die Eingabe des Beschwerdeführers vom 3. Oktober 2012 diesen Mindestanforderungen offensichtlich nicht gerecht wird, da sie kein rechtsgenügliches Begehren enthält und sich der Versicherte nicht in konkreter und hinreichend substanziierter Weise mit den Erwägungen der Vorinstanz auseinandersetzt und namentlich weder rügt noch aufzeigt, inwiefern das kantonale Gericht eine Rechtsverletzung gemäss Art. 95 f. BGG resp. eine für den Entscheid wesentliche unrichtige oder unvollständige Sachverhaltsfeststellung im Sinne von Art. 97 BGG begangen haben sollte,
dass deshalb kein gültiges Rechtsmittel eingereicht worden ist, obwohl das Bundesgericht die Rechtsvertretung des Beschwerdeführers auf die Formerfordernisse von Rechtsmitteln bereits wiederholt hingewiesen hat,
dass somit auf die offensichtlich unzulässige Beschwerde - ohne Ansetzung einer Nachfrist zur Verbesserung (BGE 134 II 244 E. 2.4 S. 247) - in Anwendung von Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG nicht eingetreten werden kann,
dass es sich bei den gegebenen Verhältnissen rechtfertigt, von der Erhebung von Gerichtskosten für das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren umständehalber abzusehen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG),
dass in den Fällen des Art. 108 Abs. 1 BGG das vereinfachte Verfahren zum Zuge kommt und der Abteilungspräsident zuständig ist,
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Kantonsgericht Basel-Landschaft, Abteilung Sozialversicherungsrecht, und dem Bundesamt für Gesundheit schriftlich mitgeteilt.
