The appellant challenged a cantonal social insurance decision before the Federal Supreme Court. After being ordered to pay a court advance by an extended deadline, she still did not pay. The single judge therefore applied the simplified non-entry procedure and declared the appeal inadmissible. The court also waived the collection of court costs.
Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG in conjunction with Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a and Abs. 2 BGG; non-payment of the required advance on costs within the additional time limit entails non-entry in simplified procedure. Where non-entry is ordered for this reason, court costs may be waived under Art. 66 Abs. 1 sentence 2 BGG. The decisive criterion is the objective failure to comply with the advance-payment order; no further examination of the merits takes place.

in die Verfügung vom 24. Januar 2008, mit welcher K.________ zur Bezahlung eines Kostenvorschusses innert einer Nachfrist bis zum 4. Februar 2008 verpflichtet wurde, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde,
in Erwägung,
dass die Beschwerdeführerin den Vorschuss auch innerhalb der Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat,
dass deshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a und Abs. 2 BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Kantonsgericht Basel-Landschaft, Abteilung Sozialversicherungsrecht, und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
