The appellant withdrew her administrative-law appeal against the judgment of the Valais cantonal insurance court. The Federal Insurance Court therefore struck the case U 355/99 from the docket. It also ordered that no court costs be charged. The decision was communicated to the parties, the cantonal court, two insurers, and the Federal Social Insurance Office.
Withdrawal of appeal; striking a case from the docket follows upon an unequivocal withdrawal of the administrative-law appeal. In such a situation, the appellate court does not examine the merits and merely terminates the proceedings. Absent special circumstances, no court costs are levied on the basis of the withdrawal (consid. 1).

par ce motif,

I. La cause U 355/99 est rayée du rôle ensuite du retrait
du recours.
II. Il n'est pas perçu de frais de justice.
III. La présente décision sera communiquée aux parties, au
Tribunal cantonal des assurances du canton du Valais,
à la CSS Assurances, à la Mutuelle Valaisanne, ainsi
qu'à l'Office fédéral des assurances sociales.
