The appellant filed an appeal against a decision of the Cantonal Compensation Fund concerning AVS contributions. After the court had granted time to submit an Italian translation, the appellant withdrew the appeal by letter of 12 January 2000. The Tribunal cantonale delle assicurazioni therefore held that the matter had become moot, struck the case from the docket, and ordered that no fees or costs be charged.
