The Tribunale della pianificazione del territorio in Lugano dealt with an appeal against a State Council decision concerning the delimitation of the forest boundary adjacent to the building zone of a municipality. After the appellant withdrew the appeal by letter of 14 August 2001, the court held that the case had become moot and ordered it struck from the docket. It further ordered that no court fees or expenses be levied.
