POLICEMEN HOLDING OFFICE OF CONSTABLE
                      Act of 1905, P.L. 309, No. 214                  Cl. 42
                                  AN ACT

     Authorizing policemen to hold and exercise the office of
        constables.

        Compiler's Note:  Section 1301(b) of Act 87 of 1996 provided
            that Act 214 is repealed insofar except insofar as
            relates to constables.
        Section 1.  Be it enacted, &c., That from and after the
     passage of this act, it shall be lawful for any policeman
     residing in any borough, who shall be duly appointed or elected
     to the office of constable in said borough, or any ward thereof,
     to hold and exercise said office, and to demand and receive all
     costs, fees and emoluments pertaining thereto, as allowed by
     law.
