The IPI shall charge fees for:
1. granting and maintaining intellectual property rights;
2. keeping and publishing registers;
3. granting authorisations to and supervising collective rights management organisations;
4. legally required publications; and
5. further enforcement measures in accordance with the legislation on intellectual property.¹

The IPI’s fee regulations are subject to approval by the Federal Council.
