The European patent application may be converted into a Swiss patent application:
1 in the case provided for in Article 135 paragraph 1 letter a of the European Patent Convention;
in the case of failure to observe the time limit in accordance with Article 14 paragraph 2 of the European Patent Convention, where the original application was filed in Italian;
