Where the request for conversion is filed in due form and sent in good time to the IPI, the patent application is deemed to have been filed on the date of filing of the European patent application.
The documents accompanying the European patent application or European patent that were filed with the European Patent Office are deemed to have been filed at the same time with the IPI.
The rights attached to the European patent application remain valid.
