In fulfilling federal tasks as specified in Article 2 of the NCHA, and in preparing and amending ordinances, concepts and sectoral plans (Art. 13 of the Federal Act of 22 June 19791on Spatial Planning) in relation to these tasks, the competent federal and cantonal authorities shall give due consideration to the requirements of nature protection, cultural heritage protection and monument preservation.
