Als Auslandjahr im Sinne von Artikel 4a Absatz 2 WPEG gelten zwölf zusammenhängende Kalendermonate, während deren der Schweizer Bürger, ungeachtet seines Alters:1

  1. im Ausland wohnt; oder
  2. sich mit Auslandurlaub nach den militärischen oder zivildienstlichen Vorschriften im Ausland aufhält.
