Requests for types of information specified in Articles 35, 40, 42 and 43 may be complied with by carrying out a search that tolerates errors and finds phonetic matches (flexible name search). In this case, the suffix “FLEX” shall be added to the abbreviation for the relevant information request type: IR_5_NA_FLEX, IR_11_TEL_FLEX, IR_14_email _FLEX and IR_16_COM_FLEX.
The request for information shall in each case contain the first and at least one additional query criterion for the underlying information request type.
