The federal government shall inform the public and authorities about the risks and hazards involved in handling substances and preparations and shall recommend measures to reduce the risks.
It shall issue technical guidelines and publish the lists of substances and preparations that are required for the application of this Act.
The cantons shall provide information within their areas of responsibility.
