che modifica il regolamento (CE) n. 798/2004 del Consiglio che proroga le misure restrittive nei confronti della Birmania/Myanmar
LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,
visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea,
visto il regolamento (CE) n. 798/2004 del Consiglio, del 26 aprile 2004, che proroga le misure restrittive nei confronti della Birmania/Myanmar 1 , in particolare l’articolo 12, lettera b),
considerando quanto segue:
(1) L’allegato IV del regolamento (CE) n. 798/2004 elenca le imprese statali birmane soggette alle misure restrittive di cui all’articolo 8 bis del regolamento.
(2) L’articolo 12, lettera b), del regolamento (CE) n. 798/2004 autorizza la Commissione a modificare l’allegato IV sulla base delle decisioni adottate in relazione all’allegato II della posizione comune 2004/423/PESC del Consiglio 2 , che rinnova le misure restrittive nei confronti della Birmania/Myanmar.
(3) La posizione comune 2005/149/PESC del Consiglio 3 modifica l’allegato II della posizione comune 2004/423/PESC. Occorre pertanto modificare di conseguenza l’allegato IV del regolamento (CE) n. 798/2004,
HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:
L’allegato IV del regolamento (CE) n. 798/2004 è modificato come risulta dall'allegato del presente regolamento.
Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il giorno successivo alla sua pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea .
Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri. Fatto a Bruxelles, il 22 febbraio 2005. Per la Commissione Benita FERRERO-WALDNER Membro della Commissione
