Art. 28

The IPI shall cancel a registration in whole or in part if:

1. the right holder requests the cancellation;
2. the registration is not renewed;
3. the prescribed fees are not paid;
4. the registration is declared invalid in a final court decision; or
5. the term of protection under Article 5 has expired.
