A design may not be protected if:

1. the design filed is not in accordance with Article 1;
2. the design does not meet the requirements of Article 2 at the time of filing;
3. the features of the design are dictated solely by the technical function of the product;
4. the design infringes federal law or international treaties;
5. the design is contrary to public policy or morality.
