The FOJ may receive requests directly from the ministry of justice of the requesting State.
When provisional measures must be taken or in urgent cases, the intervention of the International Criminal Police organisation (ICPO Interpol) may be enlisted or a copy of the written request may be sent directly to the authority competent for its execution.
