The FOCBS may process personal data to the extent necessary for implementing this Act.
For the purposes of prosecuting and adjudicating contraventions, it may process the following sensitive personal data:
1. information on checks carried out;
2. information in connection with contraventions under Article 14.
The Federal Council shall, unless this Act provides otherwise, regulate:
1. the organisation and operation of the information system;
2. the list of data to be recorded;
3. authorisation to process the data;
4. the acquisition and disclosure of the data;
5. how long the data may be retained;
6. data security.
