No dose limits are specified for patients exposed to radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
The radiation exposure of patients shall be at the discretion of the person responsible. However, such persons must comply with the principles of radiological protection specified in Articles 8 and 9.
The Federal Council shall issue provisions for the protection of patients.
