Commentaries: Art. 22a

The Confederation shall support measures to preserve and promote the Romansh and Italian languages outside their traditional areas of use.
The Confederation may grant organisations and institutions financial assistance, in particular for:
1. measures and programmes that encourage the learning of the Romansh and Italian languages and the consolidation of language skills;
2. measures and programmes that enable and facilitate the use of the Romansh language.
The federal financial assistance shall amount to a maximum of 75 per cent of the overall costs.
