Where public interest so dictates, the Federal Council may expropriate all or part of the patent.
The former proprietor of an expropriated patent is entitled to full compensation which, in the event of any dispute, is fixed by the Federal Supreme Court; the provisions of Section II of the Compulsory Purchase Act of 20 June 19301apply by analogy.
