Where it is possible to accomplish a protection task only through the use of force or other police measures as defined in the Use of Force Act of 20 March 20081, the Federal Council may grant permission to do so even in situations other than those of self-defence or of necessity.
The Federal Council shall make certain that the personnel have received the appropriate training.
