The Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS) is authorised to notify the owners of copyright or related rights and the authorised collective rights management organisations if there is any suspicion that goods are about to be brought into or taken out of the customs territory whose distribution would violate legislation applicable in Switzerland on copyright and related rights.
In such cases, the FOCBS is authorised to withhold the goods for three working days in order that the persons entitled may file an application in accordance with Article 76.
