Any person who intentionally imports, stores, offers for sale or markets animal feed or animal feedstuffs that constitute a danger to animals shall be liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or to a monetary penalty. Public notice is given of the conviction.
If the offence is committed through negligence, a monetary penalty shall be imposed.1
The products are forfeited. They may be rendered harmless or destroyed.
